Barry A. McBride, CLU, AEP, President

A graduate of Grand Canyon University, Barry is President of the Sun Cornerstone Group. As a Chartered Life Underwriter and as an Accredited Estate Planner, his business focus is on assisting individuals through estate and financial planning. He has served as President of both the local and state NAIFA Associations and the General Agent’s and Manager’s Association. Barry is a qualifying and life member of the Million Dollar Round Table and qualified for Top of the Table for 2006. He has been honored with the Spirit of Philanthropy Award from the Association of Fund Raising Professionals, and the Governor Howard Pyle Award for his more than 26 years of volunteer time with the youth at Canyon State Academy. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services profession, Barry enjoys assisting clients to establish financial goals and objectives, and to plan toward their ultimate fulfillment. Debra L. McBride, Corporate Secretary

Debra serves to maintain corporate structure and procedures for Sun Cornerstone Group. However, the majority of her time is spent as C.O.O. of Benefit Members Associated, Inc., our sister corporation which focuses on premium and plan negotiations for Employers in the Employee Benefits Arena. With more than 25 years of experience, Deb is greatly appreciated by our client companies and is well respected in the Benefit Provider Community. Maintaining relationships with more than 25 insurance companies, Deb’s expertise as an employer advocate / broker gives her a vast pool from which to design objective benefit plans fully reflective of the Employer’s plan goals. Deb’s personal passion comes in encouraging others in good times and in challenging times. Serving as President of the Christian Business Women’s Association, she finds fulfillment as she truly enjoys the fellowship and mutual support that comes by belonging and participating in the monthly meetings.

Jeanne Johnson, Life, Disability and Health Insurance Sales

Jeanne Johnson joins the Sun Cornerstone Group after spending almost seven years in the financial services arena having dealt extensively with life and disability insurance. Also having had many years of experience in the residential real estate and interior design fields, Jeanne is well versed in customer service, and strives to promote optimum client satisfaction. When not working at Sun Cornerstone Group, Jeanne volunteers and spends time at the Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship Ranch in North Scottsdale. Camelot provides free of charge individual riding lessons to physically disabled students. Jeanne enjoys interacting with these participants as well as the volunteers, and caring for their eight horses. She has also worked at corporate and leadership workshops which utilize horses to teach personal development, communication and trust skills. She believes that our equine companions can teach us many lessons in life. Jeanne is currently taking night classes at Scottsdale Community College to acquire her associate’s degree in Equine Science, in addition to her B.A. degree which she previously earned from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA. In her free time Jeanne and her husband, Dan, enjoy spending time with their sons, Angus and Scott, and their families. They also enjoy interacting with their own thoroughbred horses.
